I have lurking here for a couple of months now and finally joined. I just picked up my Tarm Solo 40 today and cannot wait to start putting it together. I have a few questions about the installation. I have radiant floor heating in about half my house and was wondering if this is going to pose a problem and I have no idea what an oxygen barrier is? Do I need a heat exchanger? I know it more efficent with a heat storage, but I cannot afford it this year. I had a Kerr woodboiler last year and sold it this summer, the three hour burn time was not cutting it. I am going to hook this boiler in parrell with my burnham boiler. Any suggestions and tips would be appriciated. Thanks Doug

Look at the Sticky note "Simplest Pressurized Storage Solution" at the top of this page, omit the storage, and you likely are close to what you need. Since you have a boiler now running the radiant, I would assume is is oxygen barrier pex, as corrosion would be an issue regardless of your boiler. I don't have such a system, but maybe the color of the pex is the key, or there is a code on the pex.
