Hi Everyone, New member here. I have an old Napoleon 1401 fireplace insert that needs fan motors replaced. This is the old style with regular looking fan blades not a cage type. The Nap. part is NB 200. Im kinda handy and over the 30 years or so I have taken the motor apart for cleaning/ lube and even taken apart and squashed the bearings a bit when the wear was causing a rattle., but now its finaly time for replacement. I got a price from Friendly Fires of $412.36 each for OEM, and I see a local dealer has a slightly different replacement @ $210 each. I was wondering if anyone here know if it is possible to get a good replacement cheaper even if not OEM. I have attached a pic of the motor. Im am in Ontario Canada. Thanks in advance to anyone reading with the intentions of helping if possible.
