I was looking into the wireless Dakota Alert system. Glad to hear it's good. I'll check into X10 for solutions as well.

A friend a work suggested some "Beware of Dog" signs and put up the flags for the invisible fencing.

Our cars are in a garage so no worry there about loosing gas.

I always liked the signs that had a pic of a gard dog at the top, and underneith said something to the affect of "I can make it to the gate/property boundary in 3.2 seconds.....can you?"

My wood's not visible from the street, ore even if ya drive in. But like I say- it's not the wood I'm worried about, it'd my walls geting tagged by punks that concerns me............

Thats what I think too, but not the report I get back from people that have tried to approach the house when no one is home. My own sister says that she cannot walk up to the house if we're not home. Who wudda thought??

And that report is pretty consistent with most everybody. When were home, she has a warning bark, but then its "pet me, pet me, pet me".

I got another one that is pit/german and that thing would help you carry stuff from the house for a doggy biscuit.

p.s. both were rescue dogs, the one in the pic was about 2 when we got her and the other was about 1.

Good for you! Our Chessie was a rescue as well, got her when she was three. The only reason we can determine she was there was that the previous owners must of thought they were getting a Lab. Anyone that knows anything about Chesapeake Bays, knows that they're certainly no Lab.
