Home Depot's $3.97 per bag Stove Chow and Lowe's $3.97 per bag Green Supremes. Saving the super Premium Geneva, Pacific Clean Fire and Logik-e pellets for a cold stormy northeaster winter night which may be tomorrow night!!
Don... Whats up with your glass? When was the last time you cleaned it? Looks very dirty... You know that any pic taken on this Forum has to be STAGED and make it look GOOD all the time...
Anyways... Got some Green Supremes in it. Burning very well. 1st time I have seen them in my area..
Hello Dexter
That reminds me of a stove shop I walked into. The 1st stove I saw had dirty glass. So I asked the guy why? He said to show customers what happens if you do not clean the glass! He was very knowledgeable so I thought that was cool and not all shops would do that.
I know glass gets dirty if you dont clean it. But my glass wouldnt be that dirty after 4 weeks of straight burning. Just wondering if you are trying to beat imacmans record for # of bags burned? I know most pics I post have at least a semi clean window. You have to be able to see the Fire. No?

This is after 4 days. After closing up my gable vents with the plywood doors I made, I run the stove on low 1 or 2 heat setting.
The last 4 days I ran on heat setting 2 which is 2.46 lbs per hour.
Closing up the gable ends and running rafter vents from the soffits to the ridge vent keeps the roof cool and makes the house 10 degrees warmer. Best heat retaining improvement I have ever done!!
Now below is a picture I just took and I still have not cleaned the glass. The flame is a little higher.
What heat setting do you typically use in lbs per hour??

Basement stove has NEWP, up stairs has Okanagans.

I said that too some(11 - 12) seasons ago. Wife and I got hooked on the pellet heat. My 2 tons turned into 5 pretty quickly! Over the last 3 with pellet prices rising, We did some upgrades to reduce our consumption to around 3 1/2. But the stat stays at 72! Bosses law and I am not argueing!
