Buzz Saw, why the dual fuel boiler instead of two separate boilers (or a wood boiler and a separate forced air propane furnace)? If you go with two separate appliances you will likely get better efficiency on both units, a wider selection of equipment and redundancy (if something happens to one piece of equipment, you always have the other). If you only have one chimney available, use it for the wood boiler and have your LP appliance power-vented (side wall). Easy to tie the two systems together hydronically / electrically - or you could have them completely separate from one another with two different thermostats. Thoughts? Chris
