That’s a lot of square footage. The thumb, but I’ve been trying to heat 3200 sq ft solely on wood this year. One cord of it was pine. I’m looking at getting the place retrofoamed this upcoming year.
1 cord as of today...12/28/19....the day the buckeyes got screwed by the refs in the fiesta bowl.....

Very true on the pitiful field goals ....but when you have SEC (Clemson division refs) calling the game everyone knew which way the calls were going to go.....10 other divisional refs to call the game and the NCAA pics SEC refs.....brilliant. NCAA is a jokecome on, they blew a 16 point lead which should have been a lot more with all the red zone field goals. After they blew the lead they needed the refs to call a perfect game. That’s funny....
GO IRISH

That’s a nice looking woodshed. I’m jealous. So far for the 2019/2020 season I’m Down about 2.25 out of 5 cords in this bay of the shed. My cat is getting old and I think wood consumption is above normal. We burn for all of our heat and have a 9 month heating season. View attachment 254534
out of curiosity, do you split and stack straight into your shed, or does that wood sit out for a bit before getting in there? So far for the 2019/2020 season I’m Down about 2.25 out of 5 cords in this bay of the shed. Gone thru 6 cords so far of hard maple and black locust for Oct-Nov-Dec. I'm now retired and can/do have the stove going all day and night. I'm slightly less than halfway thru my supply so I'm right on track. Late fall a guy down the road let me cut up and bring home some Honey Locust from a tree he had cut down in his yard so by this time next year I've got that to burn.

Where did you score the plastic pallets? This 20x10x 7 foot tall shed is only about 2 years old and I've been filling it with green wood. I fill it in the summer, and the wood sits in there for 1.5-2 years before being burned which means this season is the first that has fully been aged in a shed. The wood is douglas fir. So far, so good. The wood is up on pallets in a pasture, with full sun and wind. For the last, gosh, couple of decades I stacked in double rows with plastic top covers that let all the sideways rain hit the wood.

The black paint is really cheap but good fence paint from tractor supply in 5 gallon metal buckets. High gloss, oil based. My fence is black too so it matches. Roof is comp just like the house and shop.Thats a slick woodshed highbeam....i like the black too.
