Switched to Turmans this morning. cubex on deck. Can't tell its cold out at all! ==c
46::F outside here right now, but it's going to start the big nosedive in an hour or 2......going to be COLD until Friday. Somersets are on deck, along a switch back to Hi-Lo.

I just checked the weather seeing several posts about the this cold front. Forecasts are for single digits here in PA and not getting out of the teens here at night which does not happen often. Thats getting so cold the Canadians and you Maine guys might have to put on long sleeve shirts.

Time to dig out those MWP softies!

This is the first year that because I ordered late that watch the forecasted temperatures closely. When I started this season I only had about 40 bags of Okies. I added 3 tons om MWPs.
Its 19 deg. F outside at the moment and the MWPs are keeping us comfortable. Tonight snow arrives, and after that it is supposed to be colder. 20 bags of Okies left.

P.S. I hope the Okanagan people get the operation in Mass running as it should for next season.

Switched back to 'Set's yesterday all i can say compared to Fireside Ultra's is WOW!!, alot more heat, ALOT less ash, 2010 stash are really good, not what I'm reading here about 2012's Set's

Running teams right now, waiting for hopper to empty.. Then hamers or cubes are on the menu...

My local Lowes got in a load of Greene Team Platnuims. bought them yesterday for $4.10 a bag and went to day to get more. Found out they should have been $5.50 a bag but girl charged me for Inferiors yesterday. Trying them out today and have a stash of 15 bags. Also picked up a infrared thermometer at HF. So where should I be sampleing the heat? Glass? thats 280 right near the blower output holes 313. running stove temp 4 feed 4

The GT Plat's are just re-bagged GT's....but I still think they're better-than-shoulder-season pellets. Too bad you didn't get a ton at that price...

As you can see, our bag has been changed to eliminate any confusion as to what we are using for wood. We purchase the best materials possible from local mills. Our sawdust, shavings and chips are all clean and bark-free. We DO NOT use demolition debris. The wording "recycled" has been removed as it was originally used to indicate that we are using mill residues not processing round wood for the sole purpose of pelleting. We had also added a the #4 plastic recycle logo to our bags as we are working with local plastic handlers to start a pellet bag program.

Agreed, Corporate policies are much like politics. I'd rather talk pellets! ;)

Curious to what your TSC have in stock, Mine only has Northeast from Ashland Maine. They seem OK(softwood) But I'm leary since they are using recycled wood from pallets and such. I'd rather MWP or AWF even.
