(Note that I said run out for beer, not run out of beer, that just don't happen)
I don't mind running my stove if I have to leave for a couple of hours here and there, but I generally don't run it when I am at work. I have my oil heat kick on just before I come home to get the house up to a reasonable temp and then I light the stove and it does the rest.
I'm tired of burning oil so I'm considering running the stove to keep the house at 60 degrees or so when I'm at work. What do you guys think? Who runs their stove when they are at work? Good idea or not?
Ouch!I run mine 24\7 I do turn the temp down just a few degrees before I leave for work. I would rather pay the price for pellets than the $6.38\gallon heating oil price right now. Jay
