I am unable to purchase the wood pellets I used last season, I just purchased 2 ton of LG Granules pellets. Do they burn hot? Is there lots of ash? i used to burn Country Boy White Lighting and cannot get them. I am concerned that LG is not going to measure up, any input would be greatly appreciated.

Ted I burned about 15 bags of the lg pellet and thought they burned great with little ash you shouldnt be dissapointed,I also just bought three tons of them.

I tried a few bags of LG Granules and they were good, burned well and not too much ash. They're on my "short list" of pellets I'm willing to buy in quantity, depending on price and convenience. Most other people on this board who have used them seem to like them also.

I am also getting ready to purchase my pellets now for next season. This past winter I burned 4 tons of Greenway Hardwood pellets and they were just ok.
I will be buying 4 tons again this year and my uncle will be purchasing 6 tons of whatever I recommend to him. Any help or suggestions would be appreaciated.

Here are the 4 choices I have narrowed it down to:

Lignetics Wood Pellet: $289/ton +$80/delivery ($1,236 total for 200 bags) $6.18/bag

O'Malley Wood Pellet: $274/ton+$80/delivery ($1,176 total for 200 bags) $5.88/bag

Okangan Wood Pellet: $350/1.3 ton + $80/delivery ($1,130 total for 195 bags) $5.79/bag

Barefoot Premium Pellets $289/ton + $100 delivery ($1,256 total for 200 bags) $6.28/bag

The total difference in the high to low price is $126 for the total pellet supply for next season. From what I've read and researched these have received mostly positive feedback. I will be ordering in the next couple of days so I just wanted to see if anyone could provide any advice or comments before I order.

Thanks,

Pat

From everything I've read if you can get the Oakanagens for that price go for it. The people that have replied about that pellet say you can't go wrong.
