Which saw should I get?

I thought that was an item from the Onion by the title...

But I think it's real.
The only benefit I see is the example where they make a hole in a sheet without having to predrill.
Businesswise it'll be a good thing as I think they'll be selling a lot of bar/chain combos (don't know if you can buy chains separately). Similar to inkjet printers where money is made on the ink.

For wood working or carpentry it's not useful beyond what we already have, in precision of the cut and ease of use etc. (Having to "use the dogs" to cut through a small piece of lumber like that...)

So, no thanks. I like nano, and I like electric (= nanoelectronics) but not this :p
 
I have several of those little hand held micro chainsaws here for sharpening. Pico Pico chain, loop is so small barely fits around the 4" jaws on my bench vise- have to hand file them.
 
and you need a magnifying glass to sharpen them :p
