I'm glad someone else said this. I was reading votes for red oak and thinking to myself that maybe those people don't live in places where red oak is called "piss oak"On smell alone, it's Cedar for me, I never get tired of that smell.
Red Oak burns really nice, but smells like piss when splitting if you ask me. And you sorta almost did.
