HI guys, I have been very happy with my englander 25-ep thus far, as last night before i filled up the hopper before bed i did the routine of pulling on the heat exchange tubes scraper/cleaning tool that is connected with about a 3/16 or 1/4 size metal rod that comes out of stove that i move back and forth to clean and scrap ash from heat exchange tubes and dumps the ash into the ash pan. Last night when i was doing this routine suddenly the rod that connects to the heat exchange tube scraper snapped from the scraper, i went in to take a look today and found a hole from where the rod connects on the tube scrapper, is the only thing i can do is hire someone to weld the 2 peices together or is there any other thing i can do to attach this thing together again??? i think its not a common problem and might be confusing for some who read this, if you need any more details please let me know.
Stove works fine its just makes it much messier to clean as now i have to take out the baffle witch the scrapper is behind as all the ash falls out and then there is a ton more ash there now since i can't scrap it daily useing the heat exchange tube scraper while the stove is on with door closed any longer makes it much harder to clean as ash flys throughtout the house now as soon as i touch the baffle, anyone got any ideas??, thank you
