Hi,
I started wearing a 3M silicone dust mask when doing anything around wood boiler recently. I was coughing up congestion that I’m sure I shouldn’t have. I figured it is coming from the ash dust and smoke when tending the boiler. In two days time I notice much less congestion in lungs. Hopefully will be a thing of the past in a few more days. Chicken coop is dusty, too, but pretty sure it is not that. Anyone else do so?
Best regards.

Long term its a good idea The particulate is not good for you , as most wood dust is carcinogenic(over years and years) , where oak and beech are the most cancerous. Not to fear monger anyone, but its plausible.
