Hi boilers,
Recently invested in a Polar G2 Plus. Current problem we have is the fan does not turn on like it usually would after the water temp drops.
Went outside this morning to find it sitting at 90 degrees and still wood in the fire box from the night before.
When I open the door the fan starts nice and quietly. So fan is ok. Switch on the door is ok. I turned the thermostat up from 180 to 190 and the fan kicked in. But problem is once temp goes down passed where the fan should turn on, it doesn’t?
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Gordo750

Check the differential setting on the temp control, not the high limit, also check the relay connections, have seen them vibrate loose a time or to, also the connections on the temp control. if you have more questions PM me and we will get in touch off the forum

That doesn't help people reading along/later on..
One or both will of us will report back later, I can't be on the forum on my phone, it don't work and I honestly believe I need to be looking at mine to better explain things, I don't have a computer at home even so that makes it more of a trick. I just want to make my crazy questions as simple as possible until we find an answer! I do totally agree with you though, so it's all good man, I have a photographic memory but there are times where it just won't pull up the right picture, right now is one of those because I have had a fellow asking about old IH tractor stuff and I've been trying to get all that into my head, lol! Hindsight I shoulda put that in my first post!

Thank you very much for the suggestions. We have the temp control set at 190 and the shut off at 200. The boiler is shutting off at 200. When we open the big door no fan. But it is turning back on after the temperature goes back down. Going to continue working on it and keep you guys posted.

What kind of aquastat does it use?
They use a pair of honeywell, cant remember number right now but I think he is thinking I mean the set temp diff between the two stats and I was asking the actual differential on each stat, I sent a PM to the OP, I can explain better over the phone what to check, I will report back once we get on the same page and can do some checking
