Just thought I'd share the VC Vigilant Operations Manual, Installation Manual, Parts List and Service/Rebuild Manual (generously provided by Kenster).

So if anyone needs any, or all, of these please let me know.

My husband just reinstalled a Vigilant Stove, but we do not have a manual and so do not know what all the vents/dampers etc do.
We would love it if you could send us a manuel.

Is it possible for you to send the operations manual, parts list and service manual. I just started using the stove again since my husband passed away and I need to do some maintenance on the stove. I have no idea what he did with these manuals.

Would you send me a parts list and rebuild manual? I have the operations and owners. I just acquired a 1977 vigilant in great shape and cant wait to have a real wood stove again. I grew up with wood stoves and had a Harman pellet stove for the past few years.

Hi Vig- I just acquired a 1977 (or close) wood burning stove. Would love an operating manual if you could.

Hi there. Do you have the specification sheet for this stove that lists things like "Range of heat output; Area heated; Chimney flue size, etc. I have the Canadian Operation Manual, which does not include this information and have been having difficulty contacting CFM for it. Thank you.

Hi there

Can you please send me the Parts and Rebuild Manuals? And you folks think you have it tough finding parts and info in US. I can no longer even get any local service people to diagnose problems with my Vigilant 1977; they are all carrying "new, improved" brands. Think when its time to head off to the old folks home, I will offer my stove free for the cost of shipping to anyone in this group who wants it. Used regularly in 2 month spring and fall shoulder seasons before I take my thermostats off the 0 degrees setting, then as supplement to boiler fired furnace heat (to save on costs of fuel, but that is another story) when temps are below -30C.

I just installed my Vermont Castings 1977 Vigilant and don't have any manuals. If you still have them available I could sure use them, particularly the parts and rebuild manuals. Thanks, Mark
