Works great, just too big and heavy. A 5.5 horse 5 gallon shop vac does just fine for what we do.

That's all I have ever used, with the drywall and fine dust bag.

I’ll clean 2 or 3 stoves a day and it’s all I use. Filter and a collection bag and regular maintenance is all that’s needed. Open fireplaces, that’s a different story. We don’t do many unless it’s an insert/liner install.
