Just got my 'chain' turbolators installed for the season! (Did a thorough cleaning first of course) Thanks Jim for the idea. Began considering this last season and finally did it. Bought 17' of transport grade 1/2" diameter chain from a lift/hoist supplier ($70). Each tube chain approximately 25". Had to cut links with hacksaw and wasn't really that bad. Hardware (bulk) from tractor supply and you're good to go. Used fine thread nut on coarse thread (4" x 3/8") hex bolt end to 'lock' the nut on that end. Now just waiting for first fire to see what the reduction in the flue temps will be.
