thanks to everyone for your input i have decided to go with hamers hot ones from primo pellets 224 a ton 65.00 delivery into my garage will place order tomorrow, i also will be doing a ceramic tile inlay hearth where the stove is going on my cement slab i recently purchased this bermed house last November and really love it for it's energy efficiency, i have lived without a basement for many years so having a cement slab does have it's advantage at least to me, i will post pics as i complete the hearth and the install of my pellet stove, again thanks to everyone. Honestly, unless you "by chance" get a bad batch of pellets from Hamer (which I doubt you will) you should be more than happy with the pellets....JMO........

Great choice on the Hamer's pellets, and that deal at Primo is a good one. Enjoy the heat, and don't keep us in suspense about the install.....we need pics!! :lol:

I assume that's a private party? That's not such a fantastic deal that's it's worth the risk. If there are some bad bags in there, you're out of luck. Burn Time Enterprises in Bristol is selling Energex for $225 a ton. Have you given them a call to see what the delivery would be? It's worth a shot.

I have a friend who lives in East Windsor who bought Juniata(american hardwood) from BT Enterprises and it was $220 pr ton and a 2 ton delivery was $66.
They were quite happy with there first experience with BT.

mike56; I'm looking on this page and there is an ad for ctpellet.com that says free summer delivery in CT. Several good choices, maybe give them a call. The ad changes so it might not be on this page when you're looking at it. The website doesn't reflect free delivery, but the ad did, unless I was hallucinating.......

I called CT pellet over a month ago and they said that $199 was not available it was really $210 at THAT time and he did not ralize his website said that and would correct it. Last year they kept their price the same for almost the whole season but prices consistantly changed. Also when I asked about the free delivery I was told it is only in certain parts of the state. Just an FYI

Thanks, I was wondering why everyone wasn't doing a happy dance about free delivery! I copied that above blurb directly from the top of the page of this forum. He really should change that. I understand from people that this is a good place etc., but that seems like false advertising, or at least very misleading.
