I am on the fence; $220 a ton for the Hardwood Heat,( I can pick em up on the way home from work), or $235-250 a ton for Hamers or Okies,Spruce Points, Cubex at BT which is 1 1/2 hour a way (an all day adventure by the time we get trailer hooked up, drive there, get trailer loaded, drive back, unload pellets and ditch trailer again). May get a buddy to go in on some with me and run over and get 5 tons. Gonna cost me $50 -60 in fuel too. If the Hardwood Heat are good pellets then would I be better off getting them local? I really don't want to buy a few bags to test now, too hot out. It will be quicker , little or no fuel costs. Time is a premium for me. The pellets at BT are a known great pellet. I only need 2 tons, my buddy would take 3. Still planning on getting a ton of grass pellets from DJ, and then some bags to test through the year to round out heating needs for the year. I still have a few things to do before I am ready for pellets, but it won't be long!

I could haul 5 tons, 1 ton dually and a car trailer. My bud wants 3 tons, so I will split the fuel costs. It will cost me half a day in time at best , which means something, I'll miss a day at my second job or a vacation day from 1st job. Gotta admit a ton of Okies and a ton of Cubex sounds pretty warm and cozy though. Mix a little grass/coffee pellets in for shoulder and perhaps a spinkling of winter warmth or those hardwood heats as test pellets. Got a couple of weeks to decide. Nice problem to have!
