hi i am new to this fourm and thankfull it is here i have a golden eagel talon pellet stove. the exhaust blower has a hi pitch wine and drives my wife nuts i dont think its all that bad but yes you can here it we just bought the stove it is 2 years old is normal for them to make noise if not what should i check

They are space heaters, not whole house heating units. Yes, they make noise, some more than others. If you took your whole house unit and put it in your living room, it would make noise. Sorry, but it's the nature of the beast. If you oversized the unit, you could run it on a lower heat setting with a lower blower speed.
In any event, think of the noise as a reminder that you are saving money when you hear it. Buy a couple of sets of ear phones for the TV and enjoy better sound. That's what we did.

If its a metallic noise? Its most likely a lubrication issue. You could try dropping some oil on the bearings to see if it quites down some. If so it might be blower replacement time. Keep putting a small amount of oil on it until the new blower comes in. Use 20w 3in1 blue or a non detergent. Don't put too much. If your thrifty you can change the bearings. or have a motor shop change them for you. Keep it for a spare.

Another thing is the original owner may not have properly maintained the unit. The blowers need to removed every ton or so and properly cleaned. Do a search on cleaning a Breckwell here. I think Eric Kinsman had a good thread on whats needed.

Also, some of us here are old. The occasional capital letter, and a few punctuation marks here and there, make things a bit easier to understand.

That Talon sure resembles a Breckwell doesn't it?

Maybe you just bought some noisy pellets. :) It's a common problem in Boyne City, Michigan. Here is a news report:

If that plant will give their neighbors free wood pellets to heat for the winter, then they would save big money on heating and the problem might quiet down!!

yes thay look the same as a breckwell stove.I Cleand and oiled it helped a lil bit. the wife likes the stove and wants to buy a better one.this one will go down stairs
