Don has been a busy man and I am sure when you all find out, that you will understand why this project has not only taken so long, but why his presence has been so little the last few days/actually weeks.

But yeah Don.... We want the final product. :)

Hello

Well, I got the Sandstone color grout in and a little Ipswich Pine Minwax Stain (Similar to the Honey Pine) over the Minwax Pre-Stain. The pre-stain makes the stain go on nice and even which is real important in the lighter stains!

love it. Congrats!

Thanks Vinny, It was my special design.
Finally got Amber LED 1/2" 2-wire rope light. Should last 20 years so they say!

I have a feeling its temporary, for testing purposes. If I know Donny as well as I think?

Hello

Yes, you right.

On larger stoves most of them are centered. This smaller Santa Fe shows more off centered.
I can move the hearth over, it is not bolted down.

Anyway, how do you like the amber LED rope light with the lighted Cubbie?
The hearth slot for the light is 37" on all 3 sides and the LED rope light is 9'9"
So there was enough length to go into the cubbie and out again by mounting with crocadile clips!
I still want to make a plywood door for the Cubbie some time when I have a min.

I store the manuals for the stoves I am testing in there. Real Handy Dandy. :)
