Other than cleaning, up to this year, the only maintenance in 14 yrs on our stove has been the door gasket. This year I replaced the baffle side insulation. It was like $20, so not a show-stopper.

I’m on my second EPA stove now. Nothing wrong with the first one, I just wanted something different. Aside from door gaskets when I get the urge to replace one, I’ve had no parts wear out, and no maintenance headaches. Sweep the chimney as needed and inspect yearly at end of season clean out.
