Worcester high temp on Tuesday was 61.

My town had a high of 67 that same day.
We must be talking about different weeks. There's no way in heck it was that warm anywhere in MA this week.

It was 75 on Monday of THIS week.

Still in the 20's here in Central/south NH. Burning pellets and have 30 bags left. Next week predicted 60's and will prob burn into May. Don't have my pellets for next year as of yet but am putting in order for 6 cords for the ol' Jotul.

Several inches of snow yesterday and got call to be on call for fires on Sunday. Supposed to be back into upper sixties by Monday and some high winds coming.

Is Worcester considered Central MA?

Oh please. I have better things to do than to get into a geographical argument about whether Worcester is or is not central MA. Call it whatever you want but it was 75 here on the day in question.

Sheesh.

I was trying to help you make your point, Tim.

You're on drugs and you don't live in Central MA if it was 75 where you live.

Have a nice day.

We're still burning overnight, but depending on daytime highs, the stove gets shut down. Today was the nicest day so far this year, at 21C, but by Wed we'll be back down to 0C. Luckily that's the only day in the 14 day trend that shows that low, though we're in a low area, so we do occasionally have frost when we're not forecast too. Hoping we can keep to the 1 bag every 1.5-2days that we have been running. If so, we should make it through. I think we have about 12 bags left, and I told our supplier that 'not that I don't want to see you.... I just don't want to see you til September!'. He agreed, so hopefully we won't need to make another pellet run until we start our stock up in September for next winter!

Still very cool at night and early morning in the NE and burning pellets to keep the chill out. Glad I stocked up in Jan & Feb.

WE have two stoves on for a bit to get the chill off.

45 F yesterday and raining, by wed/thurs will be 85 F

Then by the weekend back to rain and cool.

Just opened another bag this morning.

Happy May 1st

Yesterdays high 45f, today about the same with more wind. Average high supposed to be around 65!

I have a low tolerance for cold so I will light the stove if it drops below 68 in the house.

Do you guys leave your windows open or just have zero insulation?

Neither. My ideal indoor temperature is 68 - 70. If we got a random cool night in the middle of July, I'd have zero issues with lighting the stove.

I burned in June of last year. I dont understand peoples reasons for saying they are not going to burn anymore. Your talking about a couple bucks for the month.

My original thought was to clean the pellet burners May 1st. It is struggling to see mid 40 to 50 degree days yet and no sun for the last week, Soo lit the pellet burner again tonight, dipping into next years stash pretty deep.

I've still got 14 bags left from this year's stash and 300 for next.
