Our time is coming, and fast, fuel prices may be in question, but the low temps certainly are not.

30 degrees here right now, going down to 23 overnight. Winds from NNW at 15 MPH, gusting to 23

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR it's only November....I'm not ready for this yet >:(

Stove is cranking along, though. 72 in great room, rest of the house is 68-69, but i only have the heat setting at 2 1/2

Only -3C here, going down to -7C tonight. Not bad for mid november.

Cheers

Kenny

OK, OK who is dealing with sub 0 temps just yet? 26 @ 8:30 PM in central CT. Just about to put the stove into overnight mode. Still trying to learn this thing.

At least these are great snow making temps. Sooooooooon to be skiing!

25F @ 9pm here in the Lower Litchfield Hills of Western CT. 10MPH breeze makes it feel like 16. The forecast calls for 20 overnight. First real test of the new pellet stove.

It may be freeeezing outside, but nice and toasty 74 in the house.

19°F outisde right now at 8:57pm and suppose to have overnight snow. 78°F in the house and toasty by our fire. ;-)

I have my stove dialed in, fans in place for optimum air flow, and a weeks worth of pellets sifted!!!!

One last thing is to seal at least 3 of the 5 sliding windows in family room on the far end of the house.

nautiquer95: I know what your saying. Our weatherman says it's colder here now in November than it normally is in January! It's making me a little nervous wondering what we might be in store for this season. Thank goodness for the wood burner (best investment we ever made), but real bad weather can cause a lot of difficulties no matter what. 8-/

Hey macman I'm right by you and its 20 here now and probably colder later. 74 inside!

17 and falling right now but 70 and cozy in my 100 year old, drafty New Englander of a house. Just turned it down for bedtime. I think my oil furnace is feeling unloved.

It is 20 here at 9:50 PM. Was 18 this morning.
A light dusting of snow on the ground.
A nice 73 downstairs and 65 upstairs.
The best thing is the furnace is only running for hot water!!
Hey OPEC, it is cold outside but I am warm from burning locally produced fuel!! :-)

Wow JRB....that much of a difference from you to me (it's 27 here now @ 9:57). Windy too.....just went outside for a minute, and with the wind chill, it felt like about 10.

Glad to see you removed the fuel gate.....toss that thing in the garbage!

29˚ now, lows tonight in the mid to low 20's.

Although my house is heated by oil supplied by savages, my office is only heated by my Harman XXV.

21 in Barre MA. Good stiff breeze outside too. 'stat set at 70 and holding strong

49 right now will get lower 40's, not as cold as you guy's, but the house is warm on the one setting... Pellets Rock....

It's 20 Deg right now with a 3 mph wind from the north. stove running fine, burned half a bag since yesterday afternoon.
