Time to top cover the wood plies

Clean your chimney, stove and connector pipe, possibly replacing some gaskets

From here after I add stablizer to all gas cans. Remember like you lawn mower proper storage
is even more critical this year with ethanol in the gas

Check smoke and Co detectors dust gets in there blown them out with a vac

Have your oil burner cleaned ant tuned up

Excellent time of year to button up your home insulate pipes outlet plates and for some adding plastic draft stops to windows.
I find a piece of weather strip on your window sill very helpfull reducing drafts.

Your car also should get some attention things like wiper blades decent tires in for traction in snow always pays to check the antifreeze and keep it tuend up. Also have you battery tested.

Lots of things to do and time and day light is running out
