My pellet stove enviro ef2i metal in places not holding the screws tight
 
That's what happens when you overtighten sheet metal screws
If hidden (not seen) drill new holes and just snug up the screw.
Use a bigger screw.
 
I have the same problem and use a hex nut and bolt to fit the size of the hole and have not had a problem.
 
Get yourself larger self tapping Teks sheet metal screws.
