From away, even being here 50 yrs has not changed me. Raised not far from where Craig Issod hangs out. Official swim was always July 4, more fun then. I spent 2 years at Dow AFB protecting your behind. Got too close to the reservation.

Ah, I see. I owned a house in Bangor for over 19 years less than 1 mile east of the end of the runway.

started another fire again. I'm starting to get sick of indoor burning this summer. Not sick of burning, I just wanna take my stoves apart for cleaning, painting and polishing.

Temps going down here, along with torrential rains and high winds, will probably fire up to get rid of some humidity:mad:
Genny is in position if needed==c

Who is this Genny...And what is the position??;)
She is pretty hot  and is wired through the back door;)

This is crazy....too damp turned the stove on for a second time in June.

Almost! Temps was 65::F this AM.

So far no issues with the weather to loose power. First year with a genny that can handle the whole house and haven't needed it yet!(prolly jinxed it now!!!). I think I have enough gas to last 4 to 5 day's JIC!

Is this June or April?

Luckily we have had enough breaks in the crap to get the new rig out several times. Fish seem to like this weather and the bite has been rewarding(for the kid anyway).

Snip ...

You betcha and the multi day fuel supply seals it. You likely will only get snow storms that gently pile up feet of snow and no ice from now on.

Rugh rough! ;sick

You know there is a theory about why so many large critters were discovered sort of piled up when one of the extinction events took place that had as its cause massive feet per hour snow fall to explain why the pile up.

OK, OK, I caved this morning too. Stove not deep cleaned and had a partial bag of pellets sitting next to it. What the hell, dump in a few lbs and dry the place out a bit. Ughhhhhh enough is enough
