Do you run turbulators?

I do not have a damper but I checked the draft and it is on the bottom of the spec.
 
I spoke with Mark. My max flue gas setting should be 428F. I should operate the fan at minus 2 or 3 to get the temps down. Wood he says is the big variable. We shall see.
 
Interested what's you're burning that's roaring that well. Lumber scraps?
 
Red Maple, Birch, Beech cut last year. I know some one else who has a Vigas 40 that goes way higher than setting. Yours seems to run lower?
 
Yes. That's why I asked about the barometric damper, and min fan speed settings.
