I was trying to diagnose a Magnum Country Flame the other day. OEM support said that the convection blower starts at hi speed for only 60 seconds. It did not sound like it did, but having a tach would really help. I could use the test cord and the tach to get the hi speed in RPMs then compare that with the readings I get during the startup cycle.
. But as Dexter said, I like to keep it as simple as possible.
