...all this talk about hard/soft wood,... did I click on the wrong site ?:eek:
My pellets are small, blue ones!!!! Nothing but hard wood here.
Sooner or later this post had to go South!!!! :)
 
how do you like the Uncle Jeds pellets?


I like the Jeds a lot. They are much cleaner going in the stove and less ash, but, they cost way more. I have a ton on hand because I bought 'em right.
 
The answer to the question of which is better hardwood or softwood is ............ wait for it....

I went to Lowes today, they carry Inferno, New England, Main's Choice, Green Supreme, Greene Team

I just found out New England is the same as Green Supreme. Lowes has New England for $4.38 a bag, Cox Oil in my area has it for $6.00

Gotta love the box store. Sales people may not be as knowledgeable but $1.62 difference I'll do my own research.
