This is interesting.
LOML is usually complaining that the house is too warm (70), while that's where I like it. However, she sits in one of the recliners with a small quilt on. I sit in the other one or my computer chair, long johns and sometimes a robe. She walks around the house with shorts and short sleeve t-shirt. No socks or slippers. Most of the house is on slab. I wear socks AND slippers.
Temp need also depends on the weather and what is being done around the house. Mid to upper 60's is fine if we're keeping busy, but once I sit down for a while, that's too cool.
I try to keep the house around 70 or so MOST of the time, but it fluctuates. I left the place warm when I left yesterday (70), with a fire going. I got home to the house at 63, and my wife was on her laptop in the recliner with her quilt and dogs, and never mentioned being cold.
I started a fire.
The day before, I came home to the house warm, and a nice fire in the stove. Try to figure that one out.
So, to summarize, somewhere between 60-72.
