Well, calling for possible snow flurries with mixed rain tongiht in the ADKS!
 
We got ya' beat there pal........

A LAKE SNOW WARNING FOR SRN ERIE, WYOMING, CHAUTAUQUA & CATTARAUGUS COUNTIES UNTIL 6 AM WEDNESDAY. A LAKE SNOW ADVISORY FOR NORTHERN ERIE (mainly for the immediate southern suburbs of Buffalo) AND GENESEE COUNTIES FOR THE SAME PERIOD. A LAKE SNOW ADVISORY FROM 7 PM TONIGHT UNTIL 7 AM WEDNESDAY FOR MCKEAN AND WARREN CO'S. Little accumulation near the lakeshore/the city, but 5-8" could accumulate on the hills Tuesday and another 2-4" Tuesday night. Accumulation will increase as close by as some of the southern suburbs of Buffalo. A band of lake effect rain, mixed with hail and wet snow at times, will continue along the Lk Erie shore into the metro area and ern suburbs.

Had a few snow showers and nasty NW winds here yesterday. Temp is suppose to dip down to 18 tonight. Good burnin wx.

STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS...WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH...WILL PRODUCE WAVES IN EXCESS OF 20 FEET FROM MARQUETTE TO WHITEFISH POINT TODAY. WINDS AND WAVES WILL BEGIN TO DIMINISH LATE THIS AFTERNOON AS A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES FARTHER AWAY FROM THE REGION.

TOTAL SNOWFALL TO BETWEEN 3 AND 7 INCHES OVER HIGHER TERRAIN LOCATIONS IN ADDITION TO THE WET SNOW...STRONG NORTH WINDS GUSTING IN EXCESS OF 45 MPH AT TIMES WILL CAUSE SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW IN OPEN AREAS. WINDS MAY GUST TO AROUND 50 MPH ALONG THE LAKE SUPERIOR SHORE.

Already snowing pretty heavy in Rochester this morning, but it's turned back to rain this afternoon.

It's cold, but now is the time you run the stove to chase off the damp.

Hey drifthopper where are you from. It can't be too far away because that snow warning covers my area. I'm actually from Clarence but also spend alot of time south of rochester on conesus lake where I have a house. Just wondering.
