yep ordered 4-ton to be delivered Wednesday 2.19 a ton delivered.
MAINE WOODS HARDWOOD MIX PELLETS can't see paying more for the higher priced stuff. Burning for about 8 years now and have no complaints with the cheaper premium pellets

In eight years you never got any garbage pellets? You are one lucky dude!

Pellets burn great from the big box stores. -2 years I've been buying from a dealer who delivers for free and I get them for 2:19 ton. No I am not spending 50 or $60 more a ton for the so-called better pellets. I think it's kind of like car oil

cheapest [but not cheap] prices outside phila area here are at box stores... 259.00 ton..
green supremes, stove chows etc... all give good heat but are monster ash.
don't mind spending more for less ashy softwoods and cleaning my stove less often...

thought I was done for the year, cleaned the stoves and everything but low and behold it was snowing this weekend in western mass.
Gonna get up to three inches tonight in the Berkshires! But our meteorologists around here aren’t very accurate, lol. I don’t think I’ve ever run my stove this late! Glad I haven’t shut it down yet....

Put my last bag in this morning !! Will have to go and buy
a few more bags . Still cold and wet here . River is at all time high water
No sign of spring yet (in the temp department) . May 24 weekend
(Holiday in Canada ) is typically the planting weekend for flowers
and gardens won't happen this year ground way to cold and
no sign of heat on the horizon

Yep I turn the pellet stove on 9 or 10 at night so when I wake up in the morning for chill is off the house

I'm still running the stove every night too. Last year I was done at the end of April. At least it didn't snow for Mother's day, it's done that plenty of times in the past.

Earlier this week the forecast said 70-80 for the weekend. What were they smoking? All weekend it's been in the 30s at night and 40s during the day. Warm days have been few and far between. I'm glad I got that 4th ton because I'm making good use of it. I'd still like to get things done outside though. Free roadside pickup is soon.

Yeah same here I don't know if it's the wife and I got used to warmth but 61 outside 69 in the TV room and I'm going to turn the pellet stove on
