Section of stove pipe out of Stove and into chimney flue

I'm coming off of the top of a Caliskan (Sold by Northshire in the US https://caliskanisi.com.tr/en/categories/1/sub_categories/2/products/6) wood burning stove with a 5" connection and need to turn into an existing chimney (see photo with old stove) and connect to a 5" Tee (see photo-all single wall). I'm concerned about over-temp in the section between stove and brick if I use a single wall flue. AND I'm trying to figure out a product for the transition from the stovepipe to the Tee. So my questions:

Do I need to make this double-wall? The remainder up the chimney will be insulated but not double wall.

If so then is there a manufacturer who can make telescoping sections or build to specific dimensions?

Is a "crimped" reducing fitting good for connecting to the Tee?

What is a good puddy product for joints? I have a recommendation but I'm sure there's an opinion of "use X, don't waste your time with anything else."

Also, I don't see a single mention of this stove type in this forum. It's nice looking and has good reviews but has anyone heard of this thing?

Thanks a million,

Sittin' on the Chair...

If that is a solid masonry chimney then there is no worry about the heat of the single wall. Clearances are to combustibles.

It could be due to the camera, but the stove pipe looks like 6". Is a different stove going in?

Where will the tee be placed?

That is the old stove and old stovepipe, all going out for salvage. The T will be inside of the brick/masonry chimney straight back from the elbow into the chimney.

How do you get access to get that t in the masonry?

Oh i see now. Thanks

So single-wall inside, got it. Stove arrived and I'm getting it put together now. Single wall will be much easier to deal with, seems like you have to get double-wall made to custom lengths.

There are no custom lengths that I can recall. Thyy make double-wall stovepipe in telescoping lengths to accommodate a wide variety of installation requirements.
