Scrounging Trailer

Hwy or city's regulations really need fenders or I'd run them naked, but I'll need sumthing. Any advise?​

The monster tires are going to make a bolt-on solution tougher. If you want to spend some money, check Northern Tool, eTrailer.com, or Tractor Supply for trailer fenders. Most I have seen are 7" - 10" wide. You might still be outta luck depending on how much tire the law will allow to hang out.

wouldnt have thought getting a set of gaurds rolled up out of some steel would cost much , but if your hard up for a dollar try looking around for one of those plastic 44 gallon drums and cut one of those up ...... ps trailer is looking good ..cheers

How about flat top fenders out of treated for a place to set your electric splitter, or a small gas job with the wheels removed? Handy spot for servicing your saw as well.

It's done! LOL on some of the comments. Just did my barrel idea, ready to rock&roll. Bearings repacked. Has a spare too.

I thoroughly enjoyed my project on my off hours. Hope you did too.

R&R tires $24.00 (But not spare)
Decking $177.00
Paint $0.00
Hardware $18.00
Fenders $0.00
$18.00 to plate/tag a year

Hours spent=Priceless

Nice and cheap. If you do feel like spending some money on it buy a pair of trailer tires for it. They have a stronger side wall than P or LT tires and will handle better with a load.
