I have a Scandia 315 wood stove that appears to be in good condition. It was missing the bottom heatshield. Does anyone know if the bottom heatshield used spacers like the back heatshield did? I was going to make a new one but just not sure if I needed to account for spacers where it attaches in the front of stove.
Thank you.
 
Not sure, but I'd guess it probably did have spacers to create an air gap.
