Good morning, I recently noticed the corner of the gasket peeled away from the stove door. The rest of it is in fine shape. I bought the Rutland 2000° Stove and Gasket Cement and was going to try squeezing some in the channel to repair. Wasn't sure if you guys think the Permatex High Temp RTV would be better for this repair application. Happy new year and thanks in advance for the help. BTW Stove is a True North TN20.

I used red RTV and it worked great. It was done last season, probably around this time of year. Flexible is better than rigid for this application, I think.

high temp RTV is the way to go today. Makes the next gasket channel cleanup easy.
