Is there a way to clean the burn tubes our the air inlet into them? It seems that they are not working. When I shut down the air I've noticed that I'm not getting the secondary burn that I should be getting. Thanks Rusty

You will have to take a pair of vise-grip pliers (VGP) & clamp TIGHTLY
on the air tube about 2/3 of the way to the left of the tube.
Don't worry about over tightening the VGP. The air tubes are
Stainless Steel & are pretty durable. With a Big Freekin Hammer (BFH),
drive the VGP & the air tube to the left. The right end will release from the
side of the firebox & you will be able to remove it.
Only remove ONE TUBE & then remove your baffles...
Also remove the blower assembly from below the ash lip. You will see where the
air intakes are. Vacuum them out. You might even try to reverse your vacuum
& forcibly blow air into the intakes to see if you get any air into the firebox
from the holes where the air tubes seat...
Re-installing is just the opposite. Line up the tab in the hole in the firebox
with the slot in the tube & put the VGP on the right end & use the BFH to
drive the tube home. You will be able to tell by the sound when it's seated properly
The air holes should facing towards the door. Replace the baffles before you install
the final tube. Push the baffles all the way to the rear & spread them as far apart
- to the left & right - as you can...
HTH...

TYVM (Thank You Very Much) now I have to go to the shed and get Bertha (bfh) Rusty
