My Francesca model is about 10 years old. I have a few different versions of operations and service manuals but none of them show the same 6 button control panel, including the manual that came with the stove. I know the power level button acts as 2 buttons, but the physical layout of the panel I haven’t seen elsewhere. My question is, when displaying the stove state, what is the second value shown next to the smoke probe value, seen here as 1.24F? I don’t see any description or picture of this valve in any of the various manuals. Thank you for any input. Jim

That is a weird one....maybe the auger ON-time, in seconds?
Does it change with a different Power Level?
I don’t believe it does but I will check again. It starts out at 0, then slowly increases as the smoke temp rises. None of the documents I’ve seen show this on a display. The LCD display is confusing at times. The 0 and 4 to the right of the Screw/State display don’t change when it’s up to temp and running. I guess the 4 is for stage 4 of the run, but I thought the Screw value should be 1 when it turns.

Is your repaired airflow sensor still working well?
The repaired airflow sensor has been flawless since day 1 last season, Thank you. Those issues were constant from the time I installed the stove. Having a reliable (2) sensor is critical on my stove because the debimeter function cannot be shut off in my version firmware/software. I’ve searched every parameter in every menu and it doesn’t exist. I’ve seen the software on the newer models and it’s a cinch to turn off. I do believe my stove is like an odd one year version, possibly the first with RDS. Thanks again for the repair. This little stove is 40% of our heating here in CT.

I am wondering if the second value next to the smoke probe value is related to the air flow meter. Being a low value makes me think it’s a differential temperature measurement of some type. I started watching this state screen because I started having the issue of the stove not reaching temperature and going down on a wrong flame alarm. It’s a 50/50 shot at it starting without adding additional pellets to the pot. Started doing this when we switched pellet brands mid winter. They burn fine and put out good heat otherwise. I need to make some perimeter adjustments to hopefully alleviate this issue. When the stove first starts the value of the second number starts at 0, increases slowly. When the stove shuts down on wrong flame, the value increases as the smoke temp decreases. Too bad they don’t have a manual that actually explains the logic and interaction between components.

After multiple attempts (over a couple years) to decipher what parameters, descriptions and values correspond to any of the Ravelli documentation I’ve acquired, I’ve come to the realization that I have to live with the factory defaults as they are. My only issue presently is the wrong flame / smoke probe temp. I can only take guesses at which parameter refers to which function. Descriptions and para numbers not close to any seen documents.
