Question above Wood Stove

Good evening,

I already have a chimney with a flue set up for a wood stove or pellet stove. I believe the previous owner of the home must have gotten rid of it. My question is, If I have someone come by and install a wood or pellet stove, any idea what the price would be around for either ? I ask this due to the fact that it appears there is already a pre-existing set up versus a brand new set up/ install.

I can tell you there is no firebox, its literally set up for a stove.

If its a pellet stove chimney (not sure what the rating is for those) then you cant hook a wood stove up to it.

Your first step is to figure out what kind of chimney it is and if its in usable condition.

Is there a hearth pad? Can you describe it or better yet include some pictures?
