@begreen is the chamber in the bottom front for the EBT? The air deflector over it tends to get covered with ash. Is that bad?
If this is a first generation EBT then yes, it is in the silver box at the bottom front center. The air from it comes out of the boost manifold which is at the front of the firebox. Yes, that deflector will get covered with ash and should be cleaned when dumping ash out of the stove. This is under positive pressure so you don't need to get obsessive about cleaning this area. Our EBT has been sealed for the past 8 years so I don't do anything with it.
