New to forum. Have an old Fisher wood stove. Its measurements are the same as a grandpa bear but the doors have GML & GMR on them and the hinge mounts are not on the angle iron corners. Has anyone ever seen one like this?

This was probably the beginning of the optional arched top Cathedral doors. Probably only had the Grandma doors for Inserts and Grandma Bears, but the customer wanted a larger Grandpa with the new style doors. 1979 was the first year the Cathedral doors became an option, and the following year the flat top doors were discontinued. If this is a PA stove there should be a PA ### in weld on bottom. This fabricator sold out of the showroom in the front of building and fabricated them in the back, so you could order what you wanted.
