Minister of Fire
Hearth Supporter
A previous thread and photo posting described a gal helper nearby. Well we all cut, transport, split, stack our cord wood and final splits with kindling. Please post photos of your favorite helper. It can be your wife, girl friend, son, buddy, dog or more. At work or nearby is preferred.

As we work on our 2011/12 and beyond fuel supply, it is important to give recognition and appreciation to those that support us so well.

Thanks!

James my helper I have to tell him to slow down at least 5 times a day not a bad problem unless he has a saw in his hands!

We don't cut and split much here - mostly stack and haul. But they get into it just the same :)

Jesse James.

He's not much help, but he is good company.

And while I'm at it, I might as well point out in the picture how "dead standing" wood is not a good translation for "ready to
burn. This wood has up to an inch of rot on the outside and still measured in the high 20's and low 30's on the moisture
meter. This wood will sit another year!

My youngest. Not much help, but he's learning!

FRAME that!
Great pic.
My grandkids stayed with us for a while last winter. Could I get a little help? You bet, VERY little.
Love 'em anyway.
