Well,I am late to the party,as usual.Harmans, that have the motor on one side of the burn hosing, and impeller on the other side, should have the impeller removed every summer.Rust can form at the backside(motor mounting)and rust can form behind the impeller(inside the firebox). Most of this has gone away over the years,as the stoves are so dependable, and pellet quality has gotten so much better.Antiseize on the impeller shaft and on the allen head screw threads. As far as the--"dollar bill test"-- most harmans will and shall deal with small leaks,in my opinion, way too many door gaskets are replaced on harmans unnecessarily,Dwayne figured this out years ago.
