I have been looking at SBI products to replace my old Heatilator ZC. I was going to go with Osburn Everest II or Stratford II. They have these new offerings, the Everest III and Dallaire II, which have almost same firebox as the Everest II, very square shaped. Same efficiency, particulates are not as good. It has a central air channel on the bottom and some sort of kindling ignition enhancer setup. There are lots of fire tips and pictures of proper use in the manual. Is this a fireplace for dummies? What is gained by having this model? They did add a log andiron. The price is less than the Everest II model. This is one expensive project, hopefully I make a decision, and it gets started this summer. Thanks.
