Here's ours and Woodstock says it is brown trim but with the blue stone it looks gray to me. However, if the sun hits just right I can see some brown tint to it but it usually just looks gray and is exactly what we wanted.
You got a beauty also! I agree, they look more like a pewter then blue, but when viewed next to their gray it does look more like a shade of blue. Anyway you look at it, I think there beautiful!
Yes John, the stone definitely is blue but the cast looks grey to me rather than metallic brown. No matter because it is definitely the color we wanted and we surely are not sorry we bought that stove. And wow. It appears we won't have to have a fire in it the next few nights! Hooray! Warm air for a change.
