And that was probably in the range of load and trailer exceeding 3500 pounds.

3500# axle minus the weight of the trailer is supposed to be the load limit. It was a short distance run on very well known country roads at pretty low speeds. The trailer seems to handle it well (and it pulls well) and the tires are rated for it. I would not consider doing this on open roads.
If you just want a little weight in the front, RimGuard may be worth a look.

When I was a kid. Dad had a Sears 12 HP. Boy did that thing have torque. We had two wheal weight on each rear wheel & chains. Easy to lift the front wheels. He had it for 30 years or so. He is now on his second JD.
I had a Jacobs with a single stage blower like that. It worked well, but shanked a lot, as you need to get the drum speed up. Is that one single stage.

LOL, That sure is some flat country. I have forty acres, there ain't a natural flat place on it, you need horse power to go up and good brakes to go down.
I partial to 4's for some reason. I have a 44 bulldog special, 44 blackhawk, 44 Ruger carbine, 444 custom bolt rifle and then I find there is a 444 tractor! The stars maybe starting to align. Or is it the planets? Anyway I'm on the hunt now!
Sweet Case. I love the old tractors. Just sold a 1972 John Deere 140 that I bought a few months ago. Liked tinkering around with it and the 14hp Kohler was a beast. Put some ag tires on it and it looked awesome. Ended up wanting something a little bigger and ended up with another Deere but with a FEL.
