New furnace help

Probably use less wood with that setup as well don’t you?
Over just trying to run the wood furnace...yep.
Our place is about 1800 sq ft plus the 1200 ft basement, usually use around 4-5 cord total...and haven't used any fuel oil in years now...
 
How’s you insulation? I’m sure better than mine. Haha
I would say average...its a 1940 capecod so those are notorious for being difficult to insulate well...I'm working on beefing the insulation/air sealing up a little...
 
That’s one thing I want to do is lay vapor barrier and spray the cellar I can’t feel air flow but you can feel the heat move in the house with a good windy day (over 30mph) so insulation would help cut my wood appetite with a new furnace as well too.
