Need a woodstove installer asap in hartford area.

I bought my used about new hearthstone heritage. the guy who was going to install it just quit and didn't even say anything;just quit on me.and no dealer in my area don't want to install it if i didn't buy it from them.
i have all the piping and need this thing up asap but don't have the help,i'm willing to pay for the right help, i'm having my whole family over for the new years and want the stove going by then.
i'm in the HARTFORD, CT AREA.AND I mean i need the stove running asap,and my gas is running high and i hate to pay for gas also.i'm handy and i have saws and i know i can install it but don't know where to start,if someone can reffer me to another thread that i can get the idea.
hopefully you guys know a woodstove installer. send me a pm and we can get things together.

I was surprised that the local dealers in my area wouldn't install either a stove or liner if I didn't buy a new stove from them. Hmm. One did recommend to call local chimney sweeps, that many also do relinings and stove moves/installations. You might want to try there to get the ball rolling. Hope that helps, good luck.

Yup, that same reason stalled out my install of a used woodstove. It's a liability thing I guess. If you didn't buy your stove from them they don't want to be held responsible for installing it. Best bet is to contact sweeps in the area.

I live near the casino's and have used Armstrong Chimney Services for the last couple of years for cleanings and they are very good. I highly recommend them, but i am not sure if they service the Hartford area.

went this morning to my local Hearthstone dealer,they are booked but reffered me to a friend of his and,what a world,he knew my need and decided to do it tomorrow morning.
Perfect, this will be my first Christmas next to a perfect fire. the stove is a Hearthstone heritage,only a year old bought it for an insane deal,also with the pipes.

here she is, been with the heater off since we installed it.
at first my wife was going nutz about it and now she love it more than i do. now my sister and brother want inserts.
this is my heritage.

it is coded, it looks close because i didn't want to show the whole on the wall. but yes i have 9 inches clearance.

Welcome! Fellow CT boy. Looks great! My wife was somewhat against a stove at first, until she felt the heat and doesn't want it to go out now.

Unless you have that side loading door permanently locked, you are still not legal. In Canada, we need 18" of fire protection on the floor - I believe you need 16" in the U.S.
