Actually, it's a matter of fact. Can't really spin it any other way.
What wood stoves are they trying to eliminate? They are not trying to eliminate modern clean burning stoves just old smokers

Thank you for that correction.
There is a huge difference between offering an incentive to get rid of old inefficient dirty burning stoves and the elimination of woodstoves. You do realize if you replaced your stove with a modern one you would gave a window that stays clean so you could see the fire right.
 
Closing this thread. There is nothing unusual about stove tradeouts, but this will be helpful for letting folks in the area know. It will be good to see some old stoves removed from burning in the region.
